The Pentair IntelliFlo3 VSF pump I/O board, when used without a full automation system, allows for control of two additional pool features through the Pentair Home app. These features can include pool lights, a heater, or a booster pump. The board also enables control of up to four pump speeds with relays. If you have a full automation system like the IntelliCenter or EasyTouch, the I/O board is not needed as the automation system handles these functions.
